Booking Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing By Britney Photography to capture some beautiful Christmas memories with your family!
Christmas Mini Sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun and full of special little moments. To ensure everything runs smoothly, please take a moment to read the following terms and conditions before booking.
By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
1. Bookings & Payments
Christmas Mini Sessions are offered on selected dates with limited availability.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.
2026 Christmas Mini Packages:
Basic Package – $179: 20-minute photography session and 5 professionally edited digital images of your choice.
Full Gallery Package – $329: 20-minute photography session and a minimum of 25 professionally edited digital images, up to a maximum of 50 images.
All prices are in Australian dollars.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
As Christmas Mini Sessions have limited availability, each booking reserves a dedicated appointment that cannot be offered to another family.
I understand that plans can change, particularly with young children, and will always aim to be fair and understanding.
The following cancellation fees may apply to cancellations initiated by the client:
14 or more days before your session:
A $30 cancellation fee may be deducted from your refund to cover reasonable administration and booking costs.
7–13 days before your session:
A cancellation fee of up to $75 may apply to cover reasonable costs and losses associated with your booking.
Less than 7 days before your session:
A higher cancellation fee may apply where the appointment cannot be filled. This will be based on reasonable losses incurred, taking into account any costs saved and whether the appointment can be rebooked.
Failure to attend (no-show):
If you fail to attend your session without notice, a cancellation fee of up to the full booking amount may apply where justified by the losses incurred.
Cancellation fees will not exceed reasonable costs and losses associated with the cancellation.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including your rights to remedies where services are not provided with the required standard of care and skill.
3. Rescheduling & Illness
I understand that illness and unexpected circumstances can arise, especially with little ones.
If you need to reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible.
Rescheduling requests will be accommodated where possible, subject to remaining Christmas Mini Session availability.
If you or your children are unwell or experiencing contagious symptoms, please contact me before attending.
While alternative appointments cannot be guaranteed, I will always do my best to find a suitable solution.
If a suitable alternative is unavailable, the cancellation terms outlined above may apply, subject to your consumer rights.
4. Late Arrivals
Christmas Mini Sessions operate on a carefully planned schedule, with appointments booked close together.
Please arrive approximately 5–10 minutes before your allocated session time.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid affecting subsequent bookings.
Additional photography time cannot be guaranteed, and missed time cannot ordinarily be added to the end of your appointment.
5. Session Experience & Children's Participation
Christmas Mini Sessions are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable.
Every child is different, and some may need a little extra time to feel comfortable.
I will always do my best to capture genuine smiles, natural connections and beautiful family moments.
However, specific poses, expressions, smiles or combinations of family members cannot be guaranteed.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children throughout the session.
6. Image Selection & Editing
All images are professionally selected and edited in the signature By Britney Photography style.
Image selection is at the photographer's discretion, with a focus on quality, variety and natural moments.
The number of images delivered will depend on the package purchased.
Basic Package: Includes 5 edited digital images selected by the client from their online proofing gallery.
Full Gallery Package: Includes a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 50 professionally edited digital images.
Duplicate images, test shots, unflattering expressions and photographs that do not meet professional quality standards will not be included.
RAW and unedited images are not supplied.
7. Gallery Delivery
Your online gallery will be delivered within approximately 14 days of your session.
You will receive an email containing a private gallery link and instructions for viewing, selecting and downloading your images.
Please download and securely back up your purchased images once received.
While every effort will be made to deliver galleries within the stated timeframe, unexpected circumstances may occasionally cause delays. You will be notified if this occurs.
8. Gallery Upgrades & Additional Images
Clients who book the Basic Package may choose to upgrade to the Full Gallery.
Before your session: Upgrade for an additional $150, bringing your total package price to $329.
After your session: Upgrade for an additional $250, bringing your total package price to $429.
Pre-session upgrades must be purchased and paid for before the scheduled session begins.
Additional images or upgrades must be paid for in full before the relevant digital files are released.
9. Photographer Cancellation & Unforeseen Circumstances
In the unlikely event that I am unable to photograph your session due to illness, emergency or unforeseen circumstances, I will contact you as soon as possible.
Where appropriate, you will be offered an alternative session date or a full refund.
If an alternative session cannot be arranged, a refund will be provided for services not supplied, consistent with Australian Consumer Law.
10. Copyright & Personal Use
All photographs remain the intellectual property of By Britney Photography.
Purchased digital images are provided with a personal-use licence.
You are welcome to download, print and share your photographs with family and friends.
Images may not be sold, used commercially or provided to third parties for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
11. Privacy & Image Sharing
Your family's privacy is important to me.
Your photographs will not be shared publicly for marketing or promotional purposes without your permission.
You may be asked separately whether you consent to selected images being shared on the By Britney Photography website, social media or other promotional materials.
Declining permission will not affect your booking or the services you receive.
Personal information collected during booking will be used to manage your session, communicate with you and deliver your photographs, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
12. Agreement to Terms
By completing your Christmas Mini Session booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.
These terms are intended to provide clarity and fairness for both clients and By Britney Photography.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
